IT Support Technician

To qualify for this position, the following skills are required:

  • Ability to support and communicate with people with varying levels of technical understanding (listening,
  • explaining in appropriate detail, good writing skills, follow-up, patience)
  • Problem solving skills
  • Determination to complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Windows environment, multi-platform environments, networking, hosting, cloud/webbase
  • solutions and supporting mobile devices. Although the existing client base is heavily a Windows
  • environment, it is expanding to include support of more complex and diversified networking solutions,
  • hosted solutions, mobile devices and web based solutions delivery.
Other Requirements:
  • Two years of technical training or equivalent experience in server, network and/or desktop support Certifications in any of the following will areas would be given extra consideration:
    • Microsoft
    • Cisco, Sonicwall or other network related tools
    • VMware
