3. Coordinate calibration activities, working with outside vendor to ensure that all test and measurement equipment is calibrated prior to use on the manufacturing floor

Solar Thermal Crew Leader

About the Position: 
SLP is looking for a leader for a team of installers who primarily build large-scale commercial and municipal solar thermal (hot water) projects throughout California.
What you’ll do:
 
  • Install mounting system for solar collectors including roof attachments, weatherproof penetrations, rack components, structural members, and insulation of solar collectors.
  • Plan pipe routing and reading plan schematics.
  • Implement a Site Specific Safety Plan including; perform job site hazard analysis, evaluate vehicle safety, etc.
  • Manage a small to medium sized team (1-8 people) of varying personalities and skill sets.

Process Operator

Perform manufacturing processes that take product from substrate form into minute circuit form. Processes include areas of resistor heat treat, 100% probe, submount, dicing, cleaning and packaging. Employee performs in one or more of these process areas.

Duties:
Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications. Test substrates to meet specs, utilizing tools; prepare substrates for dicing function by mounting onto small glass plates; perform calculations to instruct cutting machines to dice up to 4" squares into circuits; use tweezers, chemicals and/or distilled water to remove post-dicing residue; use tweezers to prepare circuits to be shipped. Perform data entry into manufacturing software. Comply with safety regulations. Participate in team problem-solving.

As a Senior Buyer-Planner at Penumbra, you will perform routine and complex supplier management activities, including the planning and procurement of production and non-production materials.

As part of the shipping, receiving and warehouse team in a growing medical device company, you will maintain accuracy and control of material receipts, raw material and finished goods inventory locations.

Quality Inspector

Quality Control Inspectors test and inspect components and products in the laboratory in support of Penumbra's policy of delivering quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Perform routine inspection at incoming Quality Control and finished device level
Inspect components, products, labels, boxes, pouches, and coatings visually and mechanically

Take measurements using micrometers, calipers, snap gages, gage pins and other measuring instruments
Read, understand, and interpret engineering specifications
Provide support for R&D and Manufacturing engineering through laboratory testing
Support departmental and interdepartmental training activities, including training of assemblers or other inspectors.

Skill set Requires a high school diploma or GED, additional technical or vocational course work is preferred. Also required are:
One year of Quality Control experience in a medical device or similar manufacturing environment
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
