Alameda: Facilities Maintenance Technician

As the Facilities Maintenance Technician at Penumbra, you will be responsible for building repairs and maintenance. We are seeking a skilled, hands-on technician who will enable the smooth transition into new facilities as the company grows and expands. Specifically, you will:
Repair any walls, ceilings, tiles, flooring, doors, that are damaged in the day to day work environment
Fulfill employee requests for chairs, cabinets, whiteboards and keys
Repair or replace lighting fixtures and exit signs
Repair leaks from plumbing fixtures
Coordinate company participation in mandated recycling program
Build or repair cubicles
Interface with contractors and vendors
Comply with quality system regulations, standards and procedures
Skill set We require a High School diploma or GED, a minimum of three years of experience in electrical and facility maintenance, ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks; with excellent organizational skills.
