About the Position:
SLP is looking for a leader of both Photovoltaic (PV) and Solar Thermal (ST) field teams, and a link between the Installation Operations Manager, the Director of Operations and the field team. You will be responsible for the overall quality of the product being built by Foreperson lead teams, as well as the logistical and site coordination work. Above all, you will identify and address all technical, production, procurement, safety issues, client relations, cost control, coaching, counseling and team member engagement.
About You:
- You have 3-5 years experience installing solar PV and ST systems, and project management or superintendent experience in the solar industry.
- You have excellent technical skills in PV and ST as well as general construction.
- You have proven experience managing work sites and crew members including providing appropriate action and coaching to improve behavior and/or performance.
- You are an expert in building and troubleshooting an entire PV and ST system from start to finish.
- You have a deep understanding of aligning workflow to execute complex projects and ensure accountability to customer goals.
- You are comfortable with leading teams to meet deadlines on time and on budget.
