Fremont: Temporary Office Assistant

We have a full-time temporary position open for an Office Assistant in our busy General Contractor's firm in Fremont, near Tesla. We are looking for someone who can work February 9th through mid to late June. Training will be from February 9 - February 27, which may not be 40 hours per week. March 2 through mid to late June will be full-time (40 hours per week). Candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years experience in a professional office environment. Pay is $20 per hour.

Job responsibilities: 
Reception duties: answering phones, greeting visitors, receiving mail and packages, restocking of office supplies, etc.
Creating and maintaining job folders and job documents.
Filing of job documents, vendor invoices, timecards, etc.
Miscellaneous projects / tasks as needed.

Required Skills: 
Education equivalent to an AA/AS degree.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Fast learner, energetic, attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple work activities to meet deadlines.
Ability to work well with others.
Communicate effectively orally and in writing (knowledge of correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation).
