Pipette Calibration Technician

PCI's Pipette Team is growning and looking for a Pipette Calibration Technician to join our team in Fremont, CA.  The Pipette Calibration Technician will work both in our pipette laboratory and at our client pharmaceutical and biotechnology facilities to perform calibrations, maintenance and repair on pipettes and general laboratory instruments.  Pipette Calibration Technicians are trained on the job to learn new instrumentation, as well as FDA and ISO documentation requirements.  Our technical mentors help new calibration technicians learn about PCI, our clients, the instrumentation and regulations.
The PCI culture is a team environment.  Calibration technicians work together when visiting pharmaceutical plants to calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, or replace various instruments.  We work closely with the laboratory personnel at the client facility to ensure the calibrations are performed accurately and in compliance with the FDA and/or ISO guidelines.
Calibration Technicians must be willing to travel, as not all of our clients are based in the Raleigh or Research Triangle Park area.  Calibration Technicians have to agree to overnight travel at least 25% of the time.  PCI provides Calibration Technicians and full time employees with benefits including subsidized medical and dental insurance, 401K with company match, PTO.  A few unique benefits are profit sharing, will writing and financial planning assistance.
Expectations:
The Pipette Technician I provides PCI clients with pipette calibrations and other instrumentation related services, as needed.
