Operations Supervisor Trainee, entry level (must be bilingual Spanish) Operations Supervisor Trainee (Santa Clara) - Must be bilingual and willing to work nights We are a facility management company with over 20 years in business, and currently searching for a Facility Supervisor Trainee to join our operation team. POSITION: Facility Supervisor Trainee LOCATION: Santa Clara, CA SCHEDULE: Full Time must be able to work nights. BENEFITS: Salary, Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Life Insurance. POSTION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Director of Operations and Account Manager, you will be responsible for learning about the daily management of operations at a facility management company, supervising operations and quality control, training new employees, scheduling in a 24/7 environment, communication with clients, and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Learn how to provide strategic direction, planning, and customer focus. * Learn to organize, develop, and utilize a custodial work force. * Train custodial employees and demonstrate how tasks are to be performed to meet company standards. * Learn how to create appropriate organizational environment and value system which stimulates the morale and productivity of the work force and its leadership. * Supervise the implementation of improvements. * Maintain thorough familiarity with State and Federal regulations, FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual, and OSHA. * Become responsible for all personnel development and training, disciplinary actions and termination. * Learn to determine adequacy of inventory of all goods and supplies necessary for center operation to include ordering goods as needed, and maintaining equipment * Submit timely and accurate reports as necessary, daily, weekly, monthly and as requested. * Coordinate with other internal departments such as Sales and Human Resources REQUIRED QUALICATIONS to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * College Degree Preferred, or Vocation School * Excellent Communication Skills *Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish) * Must be able to use a computer *Client Oriented *Previous experience in the service or hospitality industry, preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to travel via automobile * Ability to stand for extended periods of time -- up to four (4) hours at a time. * Ability to lift, tug, pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
