JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:
We are looking for an organized and person who can work well with people and possesses
management skills. Your duties would include meeting with brides and grooms discussing the
details of their ceremony, conducting the wedding rehearsal (managing wedding party and
coordinating between vendors and family) and being present the day of the wedding executing the
coordination from the rehearsal. The ceremony coordinator will stay through the duration of the
wedding serving as a manager’s and catering assistant attending to the bride and groom
throughout the day of the wedding.
Qualification and special skills:
The ideal candidate is very friendly and an exceptional communicator with enthusiasm and excellent
organizational skills. This person needs to be able to cater to the bride and groom (and families) to ease
stress leading up to the wedding as well as be prepared for last minute changes. The ability to “go with
the flow” and solve last minute problems is a must. It is preferable to hire someone who is interested in
perusing hospitality as a career as this position has the potential to grow and move up as an event manager
eventually.
