We are rapidly growing in California and looking for individuals with strong leadership abilities to help find home owners who qualify for Solar installation.
Job Description
The Solar Canvassers must be physically capable of driving to, and walking neighborhoods, interact with homeowners. Work is Saturday and Sunday ONLY. 5 hours each day a must. All costs (mileage, etc) will be paid by California Solar Systems, with proper receipts.
Responsibilities;
- Driving to neighborhoods.
- Assessing homes for solar.
- Meeting customers and gathering information for our office to follow up with homeowners to set appointments.
- Meeting with the manager (me, Peter Shapiro) once a week. Communication with manager on work days a must!

- Likable, outgoing, sociable, charismatic, and personable with a sports minded competitive spirit. Proven ability to succeed
- Ability to self-motivate and stay inspired.
- Ability to be on a team of Solar Advisers who knock on doors
- Enthusiastic aspiration to work in the renewable energy/solar industry
Qualifications
The Solar Advisor must be physically capable of driving to different neighborhoods in the Bay Area. All team members are required to walk the neighborhood during working hours. The Solar Advisor will work in a competitive and goal oriented environment that requires an ability to adapt to changing environments. The Solar Advisor will need to be outgoing and willing to push themselves to get better. While experience is preferred, we will train the right individual to be successful if we feel it's the right fit for the right individual.
