Jubilee Christian Center, a nonprofit organization, based in San Jose is looking for someone who loves graphic design. This is a great opportunity for a graphic designer to contribute their creative skills while working with a group of talented people. The Graphic Designer will report directly to the Graphics Director. The selected candidate will take on projects from concept to delivery. The candidate must be able to embrace learning, growth and change, responsibility and accountability, hard work and fun.
QUALIFICATIONS & QUALITIES
- BA /BS in Design, Advertising or related field
- 1 – 3 years of graphic design and production
- A strong working knowledge of print design and web tools – Adobe Illustrator, InDesign,
- Photoshop, HTML/CSS
- A portfolio with pieces that illustrates their work using the print design and web tools
- Creative, innovative, and have a strong design sense
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet aggressive deadlines
- Must be able to work with limited supervision
- Organized and detail oriented
- Enjoys working in a team environment
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Creates graphics and branding for printed collateral including but not limited to: handouts,
- brochures, manuals, banners, internal documents, etc.
- Works closely with the Graphics Director and Directors of Marketing for branding approval
- Runs errands related to large graphics projects
JOB DETAILS
- $15-$18 per hour DOE
- 40 hours per week (hours may vary depending on services/events at Jubilee)
