Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope™, a division of Oldcastle, is the leading supplier of products specified to close the building envelope. They include: custom-engineered curtain wall and window wall, architectural windows, storefront systems, doors, skylights and architectural glass.
Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Fremont is seeking qualified drivers to make glass and metal deliveries. This is a full time driving position for the Fremont location. Driver work week consists of Monday - Friday, with no weekend driving.
Main job duties include unloading glass and metal at customer's shops and jobsites with or without the assistance of customers. Muscular and cardiovascular endurance are required along with upper and lower body manipulation in order to perform funcations required for glass and metal handling, such as frequent bending, twisting, and reaching motions. Tight gripping, cupping, and wrist motions are required to support, carry and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
Requirements:
- Clean MVR and safe while driving.
- Customer friendly attitude with the ability to lift and handle glass and metal products up to 75lbs on a repetitive basis.
- Medical Examiners Certificate is required by DOT.
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol tests, criminal background check and employment reference checks.
- Three years of Class A driving experience desired.
- Must be able to pass a driving test by our company.
