Job Opening: Support Assistant

Newark, CA

SPS is a fast paced design and manufacturing plant of crates, custom corrugated cartons, foams, bags, travel cases and we have a fulfillment division as well for the assembly and kitting of products.  Whoever qualifies for this job will definitely learn all about this industry quickly.

The hours would be 7:00 A.M – 12:00 P.M. Monday to Friday and would require someone to have excellent communication skills and be able to develop and maintain good relationships with current and future customers.  Communication with customers will occur frequently on a daily basis.  Spanish is a plus but not required.  

Job Duties:

Responsible for checking with the shipping department leads each morning by 7:00 a.m., to get their daily material requirements, enter those orders here at SPS via a standard spreadsheet and then follow through to make sure all items are delivered and notify customers as to what was shipped to them.  

Will also be responsible for generating and send quotations to customers, follow-up on packaging samples requested from our engineering group, work with our customer’s accounts payable departments to keep our receivables at or below 30 days and handle all incoming calls for various projects and general inquiries. 

The hourly wage is negotiable and they will be required to sign a non disclosure and non compete contract, due to the sensitive nature of products we receive to design packaging for that have not yet been released to the marketplace.
