RemX Specialty Staffing is an

hiring for a Loan Doc Clerk, located in
San Ramon, CA. This temporary position is a Monday-Friday, 7:30 am- 4:30 pm
& possible Saturdays schedule.
Job Description:
• Reviews the lien documentation for any changes/exceptions; requests additional documentation and/or supporting documents, if needed. Compiles and prepares proper lien documents for Essex Credit loans according to policy and procedures.
• Tracks and submits lien requests to an outside title service.
• Works closely with Sales Representatives to provide copies of lien documents and/or original lien documents and must ensure timely response to the requests to meet established Service Level Agreements.
• Interacts directly with internal and external customers as necessary.
• Controls and maintains a secure environment for lien documentation files.
• Coordinates requests for State Title work through outside title service.
• Understands and ensures that the file areas and all documents are in compliance with Customer Privacy Policy.
• Forwards all executed original documents to lender and/or doc service as required.
• Images all documents to system in accordance with Essex Credit policy and procedures.
• Ensures lien documents prepared in-house are filed in an orderly and timely manner; maintains lien tracking system.
• Completes monthly lien exception reports.
• Maintains proficient knowledge of the basic legal concepts of secured transactions, as well as variances in applicable state rules and regulations for all states in which Essex Credit does business.
• Escalates complex problems (i.e., production, systems problems and/or documentation issues) to Supervisor or Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• Associates’ degree in finance or business or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-3 years experience in a financial institution or in a position in loan processing at a Marine or RV dealership
• Prior experience with loan processing for Marine and RV loan transactions in a high volume production environment
• Good knowledge of applicable State and Federal regulations for lien processing
