Scope and Nature of Role

Directs and operates the retail merchandise and equipment service sales operations, with focus on satisfying the product/service needs of the facility's primary user groups, achieving sales goals, and growing the San Jose Sharks brand.

 

Essential Responsibilities

-   Services customers' needs pertaining to Pro Shop sales, merchandising, restocking, skate sharpening, repairs and overall customer service.

-   Promotes the Sharks Ice merchandising philosophy to support the product/service needs of primary user groups and margin management requirements.

-   Performs daily duties including opening and closing of Pro Shop, register closeouts and reconciliations.

-   Maintains cleanliness of Pro Shop at all times. Establishes and ensures adherence to cleanliness standards in sales, service and storage areas.

-   Continuously seeks to strengthen the visual impact and appeal of floor layout, fixturization and merchandise display vis-à-vis traffic flow, logical product deployment and for faster turnover items.

-   Assists with inventory procedures including periodic checks and annual reports.

-   Establishes and ensures adherence to security practices and systems that minimize loss of cash and inventory shrinkage. Takes corrective action when problems are identified vis-à-vis customers and/or employees.

-   Provides excellent customer service at all times, and ensures that all policies are properly implemented.

-   Knows emergency procedures for equipment and evacuation plan.

-   Ensures the overall cleanliness of Sharks Ice.

-   Performs additional duties as required.

Essential Job Functions:
 Under supervision of the Program Supervisor and/or Clinical Manager, implements in-home/community-based intervention for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum.
 Travels to home and other community settings, as required, to deliver services.
 Responsible for meeting established minimum productivity requirements, while providing efficient and effective service in all areas of performance.

Completes necessary documentation within required timeframe, including behavioral data collection and graphing, treatment notes, and other company-related documents and current ABA treatment plans for each client.

Remains current regarding new research, current trends and developments in ABA and related fields.

Attends staff meetings, trainings, and other meetings as requested.

Responsible to complete additional job duties as assigned by Supervisors/Management.

 

Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:
 High School diploma required; relevant experience preferred.

 

Required Qualifications:

Sensitivity to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population.
 Ability to communicate effectively verbally, hearing and in writing.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion pertaining to the work environment.

Ability to appropriately interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations of ESBA; training provided.

Ability to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.

Knowledgeable and skilled in computer/word processing software and excel.

Previous experience providing education, coaching and support to families with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or related developmental disabilities a plus.
